February 12, 1938 - June 15, 2022
Peacock, Richard A., 84, of Egg Harbor Township passed away peacefully on June 15, 2022.
He was born in Kennett Square to Florence and Fletcher Peacock. He attended Kennett Square High School and played all sports, receiving 4 letters of highest achievement. Richard was employed at Unisy Corporation Management for over 30 years and then was with Decon Industries for 3 years before retiring. In retiring he enjoyed fishing, golf, and traveling to many places.
He is survived by his deceased wife Eleanor; 3 sons Anthony (Sharon), grandson A.J. (Kim), granddaughter Stephanie (Joe), and great grandson Arthur; son Greg (Valerie), grandchildren Austin, Shanna, Lauren, and great grandson Hudson; son Scott (Patricia), grandson Eric. Richard is also survived by his wife Suzanne of 17 years; two daughters Lisa, grandchildren Ilana and Josh; daughter Lori (Fred), granddaughter Gianna; and also many relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 23rd from 10:00-11:30am, followed by a service at the George H. Wimberg Funeral Home, 1707 New Road, Linwood, NJ 08221. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity.
